Kid's Jungle Wall Mural

A client wanted a jungle theme for her son that was whimsical and more fun than completely realistic.

The entire jungle mural consists of 6 animals: Two giraffes, a Monkey, a Zebra, and a Turtle with a bird riding on his back.

Here you can see the main part of the mural with the giraffe munching on the top of a palm tree.

I thought it would be cool to make the monkey look like he was coming down out of a high tree limb holding a banana and wrapping his tail around the tree branch for balance.

It looks like he's climbing right out of the end of the window treatment, which is where the inspiration for the animals was taken for this mural.

The zebra mural pictured above is in the same room on the opposite wall from the giraffe, monkey and turtle.

It fits nicely between the two doors and makes a playful addition to an otherwise boring little strip of wall.

The second giraffe is poking out from behind the window munching on a tasty twig. He's located right next to the crib and is visible immediately upon entering the kids room from the hallway door.
