Beach Wall Mural of Lake Okoboji Iowa Theme Park

Here's a cool wall mural I did for a client in Delano Minnesota that depicts the families favorite vacation spot in Lake Okoboji Iowa.

This scene depicts the roller coaster, old fashioned tour boat, beach and ferris wheel ride on a beautiful summer day...

This wall mural is huge and covers the entire 8 x 10 foot wall from floor to ceiling. I think it turned out well, and most importantly the family I painted it for was blown away by the size and detail of the entire piece.

Even their two year old knew that the mural was their favorite family vacation spot, now that's a smart kid, and a huge compliment to me!

Here's a close-up of one of the roller coaster cars with people riding diwn the crest of the big hill. I thought it would be more realistic to show their hands up like they're anticipating the decent...you can almost hear them screaming aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

I took this picture of the mural a bit to the left of the other shot to show that the mural stretches from wall to wall and floor to ceiling.
